Who can join the Legion?
The short answer is: You can; if you are a Canadian citizen or Commonwealth subject and are of federal voting age.
You don’t have to be a Veteran to join and make a difference.

Your Royal Canadian Legion is committed to making a difference in the lives of Veterans and their families, providing essential services in our communities, and remembering the men and women who sacrificed for our country. You will discover a friendly meeting place with sports amenities, entertainment, charity draws, hall rental availability, volunteer opportunities, access to assistance with Veteran services and much more.

You can join the Bowser Legion from the comforts of your home or download the application and drop it off or email a copy to Membership at rcl211_1@shaw.ca.
Veteran Welcome Program
The Legion is pleased to offer currently serving and retired Canadian Armed Forces and RCMP members with a free one-year Legion membership, including a subscription to Legion Magazine and access to the Member Benefit programs. Our Veteran Welcome Program, available to all Veterans who have not yet joined the Legion, is a great way to get to know the organization.

Thank you for your support! Because of your dedication, the Legion can continue to provide support to Veterans and their families, remember the Fallen, and support our communities. You are part of an essential national network and renewing today will keep your membership in good standing for the upcoming year.
For your convenience, you can renew your membership online or through the branch.
To pay through the branch, you can send an e-transer to rcl211_1@shaw.ca or you can pay with cash, debit, credit or check during Branch Lounge hours. Please include your membership number.
